To affect necessary change, we too must change. Our research priorities need to shift toward things that matter more to our personal lives, our families, and the public. We must graduate from activity to impact; from acting alone to teaming together. We know how to do this. It's time to pick better targets, map and fuzz the chain(s) of influence, and make our dent in the universe. Nick will explain what is require to establish ourselves as the voice of reason and technical literacy on "cybersecurity". It is imperative that we produce a body of evidence which demonstrates a unique and vital public good - to both secure a better future and prevent a more likely (and less desirable) one. We're already behind. It is time to step up.
