The fact is that writing secure software is hard but modern compilers (Visual Studio, GCC & LLVM) offer an array of security defenses that can be included when building software to help with the task. This talk will cover current defenses to build secure software and the use of BinSecSweeper, a security verification tool, to assist on verifying software security posture after compilation.
