User Account Controls have new capabilities in Windows 7 along with taskbar pop-up controls not available in earlier versions of Windows. Additionally, updates to the operating system changes the requirements for some malcode to run in the OS. A multitude of lab tests within Windows 7 was performed against threats such as Zeus, Gumblar, Mebroot and a variety of rogue anti-virus programs.
