Time after time, we see security products not fully leveraged, used incorrectly, or end up as shelfware. Why are so many security products ineffective so often? This presentation offers a fun take on what makes an effective security product. Seven “habits” (principles for building an effective security product) will be described, with a couple of success stories and a lot of cautionary tales.
