This session will discuss the use of scripting and APIs to automate security processes like provisioning firewalls and configuring secure baselines for servers. Code examples will be available for attendees on Github repo.Learning Objectives:1: Understand that you don’t have to be a developer to embrace DevSecOps.2: Understand the basics about API calls and how they can automate work on security appliances.3: Understand how scripting via PowerShell/PowerShell DSC/Bash can help to secure systems.Pre-Requisites:Attendees of this session should be working with firewalls and other security technology on a regular basis. These may be security admin/engineers, system admins/engineers or network admins/engineers. They should have a basic understanding of how their technologies work as well.
