We've discuss why we must rise to these challenges and which activities we need to invest in. What may be the lynchpin to our success is HOW we do it. What we do matters; next we must transform ourselves as we team with the public, with policy makers and with industry. Done well, we will provide a critical and neglected public service and public good. Done poorly, we could trigger antibodies, fear and adversarial relationships with the very entities we need to influence. Katie will share her experiences, her work, and her wisdom on being an accessible and effective ambassador to domestic and international stakeholders - and outline much of the groundwork she and others have done to pave the way for us to be embraced and accelerate the necessary progress/outcomes.
