Bots (automated software agents that visit your website) have significantly increased in volume, persistence and cleverness over the past year. Today, we see ~60 million bots and 10 billion bot requests daily. This presentation will review how to distinguish between bots and real users, how to categorize bots by their goals, and present techniques to manage bot traffic efficiently by category.
