Continuous authentication maintains application sessions indefinitely, terminating them by exception. When used with Single-Sign-On, multiple sessions must be terminated. Session logout mechanisms differ by client type (web client or native app), protocol (SAML, OAuth, OIDC), and are brittle. The Swirlds hashgraph algorithm enables reliable session management across protocols and client types.
