The consumer benefits of the IoT are anticipated to be exceedingly large. However, IoT will also greatly expand the cyberattack surface for consumer appliances. This session will discuss the FCC’s cybersecurity risk reduction initiatives to combat cyberthreats to the communications critical infrastructure that is the foundation for the IoT.
