You—we!—are bad at talking to people. Not our friends or other security folks, but normal people. Some of us don’t even know it; this is why nobody takes us seriously or ever considers our ideas. As an industry we do a terrible job of making people understand who we are, why we matter and why security is important. Let’s figure out why and fix it.
