Situational awareness is an organizational necessity in today’s world of insider and targeted threats. Amplifying this necessity are pressures to embrace new trends in IT such as mobility, cloud and virtualization. It’s time to re-think how we approach security and break down silos that have prevented data, network and endpoint controls from working in unison, and enrich those controls with situational awareness.
