OS X malware is a threat to the home and enterprise. Apple’s anti-malware mitigations and the AV industry fail to block persistent threats, but there’s hope! Understanding how malware persists provides a powerful detection capability. This talk identifies methods abused for persistence and presents malware that leverage these methods.
