Software provenance is the art and science of attributing elements of one object to another, similar to genetics. DHS uses research employing commercial methods to identify code reuse metrics and share malware provenance. In this talk, DHS subject experts will discuss how passive content is integrated with an emergent taxonomy to produce actionable reputation scoring information and orchestration.
