The technology hurdles on spoofing GPS navigation data have dropped and the necessary equipment is within reach of almost everyone. This means we need to develop mechanisms to determine if electronic records of GPS tracks are real, or skillfully forged. This session will demonstrate how GPS spoofing works, and present a methodology for determining the credibility of stored GPS data.
