Abstract

With the world becoming increasingly interconnected, life critical embedded systems (LCES) are no exception to the rush for connectivity. LCES include medical devices, vehicles or other systems that may cause loss of life. This discussion will focus on a paper posted on the DHS website that outlines basic security tenets for LCES and will inform the final draft of this paper (https://www.dhs.gov/publication/draft-lces-security-comments). No regulation is anticipated.
