Shared hosting is awesome! ...sort of. On one hand, you pay almost nothing to get your site or server out there, but on the other hand, your network neighborhood probably sucks and there's no way to tell if anyone is trying to access your stuff in a way you didn't intend. There's got to be a way to watch for attacks against that server you installed via your hosting providers GUI web interface.
