Investigations into trafficking of Child Abuse Material will be looking for the presence of files. There may be situations where evidence lead investigators to the device but it does not have the files present. To aid the investigation, having knowledge as to how the files were downloaded may lead to other evidence to locate the files and others involved in the offending.
