Cybersecurity has been identified in the USA as a key national strategy priority and globally as one of the most serious economic and national security challenges. Sadly however, there is global underrepresentation of minorities in the fast-growing discipline of cybersecurity. "Grassroot" efforts to increase the number of minority students pursuing cyber security degrees is critical.
