One of the toughest challenges we face is how to balance resources between compliance and operational security. Think of compliance as the fire marshal and Op Sec as the fire department. While I would not want to work somewhere that was not built to code with alarms and sprinklers, I would not want to live in a town that doesn’t have a fire department – done correctly they complement each other.
