Cybercriminals have had growing success running SMS scams against North American banks. This session will examine this phenomenon using data from attacks seen over mobile networks. Included in the analysis are a detailed linguistic analysis of the SMS attacks, techniques used to bypass defenses, and examples of data obtained by hackers.
