P2P botnets are more and more replacing traditional botnet architectures as the basis for professional cybercrime operations. But while it may be true that they are more difficult to bring down, they are by no means unbreakable. During this talk, we will review some prominent cases of P2P botnets and see how they can be attacked. We prove the feasibility of our approach with a live takeover.
