How insecure is the Android pattern unlock? What about the Windows 8 picture passwords? This presentation analyzes the security strength of these graphical password schemes. It describes a new scheme which offers better security strength than existing schemes. The scheme also allows for automatic password simplification, which makes passwords easier to remember.
