This presentation will explore how threat groups respond when their operations are publicly exposed. It will evaluate how public reporting impacts threat groups’ decision making and how public exposure influences threat actors’ tactics, targets, timing and resources. Case studies will demonstrate that threat groups are keenly aware of public reporting on their operations, but the ways they respond differ.
