This session addresses augmenting modern systems with cryptographic primitives and shows how to harden a system cryptographically through a combination of design, software and hardware implementations. Along this line of HW/SW co-design, the session covers the pitfalls of cryptographic implementations and relevant cryptanalysis techniques; it proposes architectures for countermeasures development.
