Leakage of sensitive information from mobile devices' sensors is thought to be a well-understood threat. However smartphone sensors can leak information in surprising ways resulting in considerable threats to privacy. We present two unexpected information leakage side-channels that allow an attacker to eavesdrop on speech without accessing the microphone and to fingerprint a mobile device.
